For many years, Arakawa has devoted himself to the study and creation of glass, working from the very foundation of the material by blending his own raw ingredients. His hand-blown works are filled with countless delicate air bubbles, creating rich expressions that seem to capture water and air within the glass itself.

As light passes through each piece, the bubbles softly shimmer, revealing gentle landscapes within the vessel. With their refined mouthfeel and quiet presence, his works harmonize naturally with ceramics and lacquerware alike, bringing a cool and graceful atmosphere to the everyday table.
