Hojicha Pwder (Kyoto)
Made from only the finest first-harvest tea leaves, lightly roasted to bring out both their toasty aroma and natural umami. Carefully controlled temperature and timing create a smooth, well-rounded flavor.
Perfect for hojicha lattes, as well as both Japanese and Western desserts or savory dishes. A versatile hojicha powder that adds depth and a delightful roasted note to any recipe.

Hello, apologies for english. I tried Matcha #1 for the first time (I like #1.5), and in my opinion the bitterness taste is much more apparent in 1 than in 1.5. I do know there is a matcha shortage, but I feel that I overpaid for this matcha. I am a big fan of Yugen Matcha, thank you!
I recently purchased Uji matcha from three different places, and this one turned out to be my favorite! It’s light, nutty, and has a touch of umami. While it isn’t very complex or bold, I really enjoy it in a latte. Now I’m curious to try their #2 matcha for comparison, and I’d love to visit the teahouse when I’m in Kyoto. Overall, I’m very pleased with this matcha!
