Fuminari Araga
His work is marked by graceful forms born of skilled wheel-throwing and the white surface of kohiki (white slip). Influenced by ceramics of Korea's Joseon period, he pursues a texture with softness and warmth. In his Hibi Kohiki pieces, the crackle pattern lends an antique feel, and the more they are used, the more color settles into the crackle, so you can enjoy how each piece changes.
