Yukiko Tsuchiya / 土屋 由紀子
After studying under Takashi Nakazato, she established her own kiln, Yukiko-gama, at the age of 23. Through faithful reproductions of traditional Karatsu ware, she developed her signature style of Black Karatsu.
Her works are simple yet deeply expressive, revealing subtle hues of blue, silver, and green in natural light. Designed for everyday use, they blend elegance with functionality, enhancing both food and daily life.
